About us
Center for Economic Peacemaking
“After years of watching the same families cycle through programs that provided temporary relief but no permanent solutions, Dr. Humphreys identified the core problem: we were connecting people to jobs that couldn't cover basic living expenses. The solution required rethinking everything—from how we calculate living wages to how we partner with employers to how we measure success. This became Economic Peacemaking, now taught at universities and implemented by organizations nationwide.”
